About Us

Dutch Boy Poly began with a simple idea – to meet a local need for quality poly lawn furniture. What started as supplying one small store quickly grew into something much bigger. Word spread, relationships formed, and before long, Dutch Boy Poly was reaching new areas, adding dealers, and building a team that shared our vision for craftsmanship and integrity.

From the very beginning, we didn’t just make furniture – we delivered it, too. Providing delivery service to our dealers was part of our commitment to quality and reliability. We wanted our clients to know they could count on us to show up, stand behind our work, and make doing business easy and dependable. 

Our beginnings were humble. We started in my Dad’s farm shop with a few tools, a lot of determination, and a belief in what we were building. The days were long, the space was small, and the learning curve was steep –  but every piece that left the shop reminded us why we started. As demand grew, we enclosed a larger building on the farm, purchased our first CNC, and for several years, that’s where Dutch Boy Poly truly took shape. This spring, we took another step forward by purchasing and renovating a building in our local small town – a move that reflects how far we’ve come and how much we continue to grow. 

Rooted in our Mennonite heritage, we value honesty, hard work, and serving others. Those values guide everything we do, from how we build our furniture to how we treat people. We believe in doing things the right way, even when it takes more time, and standing behind every product we make. 

At Dutch Boy Poly, our goal is simple: to create durable, comfortable furniture that brings families together and helps them make lasting memories outdoors. Our guiding principle has always been the same – do unto others as you would have them do unto you. It’s what shapes our business, our relationships, and our future.
